Leaving Certificate
The Leaving Certificate Established is a two-year programme that aims to provide learners with a broad, balanced education while also offering some specialisation towards a particular career option.
Students study 4 Core Subjects:
English, Gaeilge, Mathematics and French
Students study 3 subjects from the following Optional subjects:
- Accounting
- Art
- Biology
- Business
- Chemistry
- Economics
- Geography
- History
- Home Economics
- Music
- Physics
- Politics & Society
- Technology
These are subject to available resources and demand. All subjects cannot be guaranteed.
Students also take modules in Ethical Education, Physical Education and SPHE in Fifth and Sixth Year.
