As per our Admissions Policy any application made will now be added to a late applications list.

Procedure for Student Entry September 2020

The process of admission to Drogheda ETSS will include a number of stages:

Note: Drogheda ETSS reserves the right to change any of the dates and procedures outlined below in accordance with changing circumstances.

  • Information regarding the commencement of the enrolment procedure will be communicated via the school website and social media.

  • Application forms will be made available from Monday 9th September 2019.

  • All aspects of the application form must be completed fully by the parents/guardians of the student being enrolled. (The information sought therein complies with the regulations of the various Data Protection Acts and will be managed in accordance with these acts.)

  • Application forms will only be accepted in respect of first year entrants, i.e. students starting second-level in September 2020. For Transfers please see the schools Transfer Policy.

  • An information evening will be held for 6th class students and parents on Wednesday 9th October 2019 at 7.30pm in the Glenside Hotel.

  • The closing date for completed application forms will be Sunday 13th October 2019.

Offer of Places:

  • First round offers of places will be made by post within 21 days of this closing date.

  • A Getting Started Form (enrolment form)will be sent with the offer of a place. This form must be returned to the office within 14 days of the offer being made. A receipt will be issued to you.

  • Failure to respond to an offer of a place by fully completing the Getting Started form (enrolment form) and Acceptance form within 14 days of the offer being made, will result in the place being forfeited. The place will then be offered to the next applicant on the waiting list.
