TY Workshop at DETSS with Meath County Council
DETSS Transition year students have taken part in a film workshop, in partnership with Create school and Meath County Council.
The workshop invites students from across County Meath to take part in creating a climate change film that promotes awareness of climate action in the local area.
Students from DETTS had to write a script, perform and film the script, and learn how to produce a final video for publication.
All schools participating in the 7th year of the workshop will be invited to watch a screening of their film, and judges from Meath County Council will select the Winning team and two runner up entries. This Film Festival will take place in early May in The Solstice Theatre in Navan.
The festival is open to TY Students in all Secondary Schools in select counties & participation is free. For more information, please visit https://droghedaetss.ie, or https://www.rubbishfilmfestival.com/enter.
We wish Drogheda Educate Together the very best of luck in their film entry for 2023.
